Project Management in Conservation and Collections Care Asia and the Pacific

This two-day course will provide professionals in conservation and collections care with practical project management skills, offering an understanding of real-world project management practices within the heritage setting. The course is highly practical, providing opportunities to work on real case studies and learn how to effectively employ project management tools.
Course content
· Introduction: Stages of project management
· Initiating and defining projects in practice
· Project planning, including estimating project costs and time
· Monitoring and controlling projects: managing change
· Risk management: assessing, evaluating and managing project risks
· Reviewing and effectively closing projects.
The workshop is highly practical and is conducted through a combination of lectures, case studies, and practical exercises, ensuring that participants gain both theoretical knowledge and practical experience in project management.
